Art Lessons
Chris Abigt has been teaching children for over 25 years. She loves every minute of it
and especially enjoys seeing the delight in their eyes when they realize that they are
true young artists themselves.
Chris teaches at O'Town Book's Mind's Eye Studio in Ottumwa where she holds four different sessions a year.
Winter Art Lessons
Hello Young Artists!
I hope you have had a good Fall!
I'm looking forward to a fun session of art lessons in the New Year - I hope you are too!
All classes will be in the Studio at O'Town Books.
Read over the following schedule and let me know which classes you'd like to take. The session this winter will be 6 weeks long. The classes are all $50.00 which includes all of the supplies we'll need...just bring your great ideas!
Painting (Tues. Feb 7th -Tues. March 13)
We'll be working Acrylic paints! Each student will be choosing their own images so think ahead and even bring a favorite photo or magazine picture from home. I will also have many pictures from which to choose. You can work on a new painting each week or spend several weeks on one piece.
class times: ( 3:20-4:20 / 4:30-5:30 )
Workshop (Wed. Feb 8th - Wed. March14th)
This is for those of you who have taken at least two sessions previously.
Each student will choose their own Medium and subject matter.
